Privacy notice
Last updated:
This notice explains how eChameleon Ltd (“eChameleon”, “we”, “us”) uses personal information when you visit echameleon.co.uk or contact us. We follow the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
eChameleon Ltd is the data controller for the information described here. We are registered in England and Wales (company number 5241068), and our registered office is 16 Bowbrook Grange, Shrewsbury, SY3 8XT. You can contact us about privacy at hello@echameleon.co.uk.
What we collect
- Enquiries: the name, email address, business details and message you send us through the contact form or by email.
- Website use: our website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security.
How and why we use it
We use enquiry details to reply to you and, if you go ahead, to provide our services. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (responding to a request you made) or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
We do not sell your information or use it for marketing without your consent.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for up to two years unless it becomes part of a client relationship, in which case we keep it for as long as the law requires for business records.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers we need to run our business, such as email and hosting providers, under appropriate data protection terms. Where data is stored outside the UK, we make sure suitable safeguards are in place.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to data portability. To use any of these rights, email us. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
