Accessibility statement
Last updated:
We want everyone to be able to use this website, whatever their abilities or technology. It is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What you can expect
- Every page and control can be used with a keyboard alone, with a clearly visible focus indicator.
- The site works with screen readers such as VoiceOver, NVDA and JAWS, using proper headings, landmarks and labels.
- You can zoom to 400% and the content reflows without horizontal scrolling.
- Text meets WCAG contrast requirements in both light and dark themes.
- Colour is never the only way information is shown. Our palette is checked for people with protanopia, deuteranopia, tritanopia and achromatopsia, and states such as selected options and form errors are also shown by shape, icons and text.
- Animation is minimal and switches off if you have asked your device to reduce motion.
- The site respects Windows high-contrast (forced colours) mode.
How we test
Every page is tested automatically with axe-core and Pa11y in Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari (WebKit), on desktop and mobile screen sizes, together with keyboard-only and screen reader checks. We also review the pages under simulated colour-vision deficiencies.
Known issues
We are not aware of any accessibility problems. If you find one, please tell us.
